So, as i have noted in my last post, everything is confirmed only at the last day.
The first day will only be an indoor shootings, which will take place in Adel's place. Initially it was suppose to be in Katinka's but somehow it doesnt suit to the timings that we planned. I was only told on THE day that Bianka's father was working in a wine company in Eger. It will be so great and easy to use her father's company for the outdoor shooting IF ONLY she told me much much earlier, where we have already thought about. Nevertheless, we can't reverse back the time so we have to make what we have and fully utilised it and be most productive.
The meeting was at 6pm and, as usual, punctuality is an issue for everyone to be on time. Once we reached Adel's place, we quickly get into action and set up the area. Oksana has volunteered to be in-charge of the lightings (which she's doing very well and cooperatively). I myself started to set-up the camera and tripod, while Bianka getting dressed and Zsuzsi is basically coordinating the whole production and making sure everything goes well.
Before we started the first shooting, we had a little briefing on the things we need to shoot and agree upon so that everyone is in the same page and frequency. This is important for both myself and the team as it will saves a lot of time on any conflicts and misunderstandings during the making of the video.
Thanks to Adobe Onlocation, i can use my macbook as a field monitor for the rest to view. It was a great help both for all of us as we all can agree upon the framing that we wanted. I observed as well that each of us prefers different kind of styles and framing, but we quickly decided on the best one and we work quickly in this way. However, not all shots were previewed first as it took too much time to move around with the camera and laptop attached together. In this case, they trusted my photographing technique.
Mate, the one who is playing the actor role, was very friendly and supportive and patient throughout the whole shooting. This makes us, especially me, very easy to work with him and also to guide and directed him. Where time is always against us, we have to get as much shots as we can in the limited time. I can say that we are very productive on the first day.
